Sal Palma
Sal is a Monterey, California native and a retail operator with more than a decade in the industry. He founded Higher Level, growing it from a single store into one of Central California's most recognized retailers, with locations across the Monterey Bay region and into Fresno. Today he is also the owner of EDH Casino, extending his operating experience from the store counter to the gaming floor.
That obsession with earning repeat customers — offering, in his words, "a higher level of service" — is exactly what 891 Labs turns into technology. Sal leads vision, strategy, and growth.
Tyler Licata
Tyler has spent his career inside the industries 891 Labs builds for. As Director of Operations at Higher Level, he helped run and scale one of Central California's leading retailers, and through his own studio, Licata Creative Design, he has led brand identity, creative strategy, and campaigns across retail, hospitality, and entertainment. Today he is Director of Marketing & IT for EDH Casino, pairing brand and technology under one roof.
At 891 Labs he turns that operator-and-marketer instinct into product — shaping how Radly looks, feels, and earns loyalty on the floor. Tyler leads technology, product, and brand, making sure what 891 Labs ships actually works for the businesses using it.
